Hi, All! It's finally time for the summer cupcake meet-up. Hey, it's in September, but isn't that really the start of summer for San Francisco anyway?

Where: Justin Herman Plaza at the foot of Market Street, across from the Ferry Building
When: Saturday, September 6th, 2pm

This is a bake and take type meet-up where you are welcome to bake up a batch of cupcakes and bring them to share. If you aren't a baker but more of an eater, then you are welcome to purchase some from your favorite bakery. Or just stop by with a jug of milk! Whatever works! Based on the first big meet-up there will be plenty of cupcakes to go around so don't bring more than 12.

For those of you baking your own, please read the following!

• This time we are asking you bake-and-takers to please bring some copies of the recipe you used to share with others.
  
• We will be hosting an optional judging for best cupcake around 2:45pm. When you arrive, look for me so you can add one of your cupcakes to the judging pool.
  
• The prize for best cupcake will be a cupcake starter kit (chockylit-style) including a half sheet pan, package of 250 of my signature cupcake cups, an ice cream scoop, a large pastry bag, and a large pastry tip (required for the perfect cupcake swirl).
  

Let's meet by the raised band area (if there is no band playing) or on the grass just behind it. Justin Herman Plaza is very accessible for those of you scattered around the bay. It's just outside the Embarcadero Bart towards the Ferry Building and to your left. There are plenty of places to grab a beverage or a savory snack.

This meet-up is co-hosted by me and Rina, member extraordinaire. We will both be there a bit before 2pm.
